RSR Ministries - How To Be Saved

The Bible tells us in John 3:16,

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

We are all born into sin and the Bible tells us that all sin leads to death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 7:23). If you want to overcome sin and have the gift of eternal life, and all the promises that God provided in His new covenant with us, you must be born again. Jesus called it being “born again” becauseHe wants you to be a new creation born into His family – a family of love (2 Corinth. 5:17). And He made it so simple. All you have to do is pray this prayer out loud (Romans 10:9):

Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I acknowledge that I cannot earn my way into Heaven. Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of all my sins and to save me from eternal separation from You. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I invite You to come into my life, to be my Savior and my Lord. I confess you as Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. Thank you for forgiving me and for accepting me into your family!
